Time: 8pm Tuesday 21st of May 2024
Place: The Famous Royal Navy Volunteer 17-18 King St, Bristol BS1 4EF (the room on the right hand side from the entrance off King street. We will also have one of the books on the table or a posted note)
Books:(Reading all of the books is not required, pick whichever one interests you the most).
About the group
We are a sociable and friendly book reading group. Since early 2010 we have been meeting once a month in bars around the centre of Bristol. The group is open to all ages/genders/etc and is free to join. We'd be pleased to see you at our next meeting, all you need to do is turn up. We are usually easy to find as there are about twenty of us each time. The discussion is always very sociable and informal, we aim to be welcoming to new members and not to take ourselves too seriously!

We'll be meeting again on the 18th of June, books: Silk by Alessandro Baricco (translator Ann Goldstein; there is also an earlier version from Guido Waldman) and Underworld by Don DeLillo.
