Next meeting

Time: 8pm 20th of August 2020

Place:  King William Pub20 King St, Bristol, Avon BS1 4EF ‎(upstairs part) - We will run a zoom meeting again as moving back to the pub does not look currently very easy.

To Join the Zoom Meeting see email or contact the group.

If the weather is ok we will try and do a zoom call from outside in Queens Square too. To join us at Queen square message on the social FB group to arrange meeting point and to ensure we do not exceed outdoor gathering numbers/regulations.

Book: Brideshead Revisited by Evelyn Waugh. (Reading all of the books is not required, pick whichever one interests you the most - when we have more than one choice).

About the group

We are a sociable and friendly book reading group. Since early 2010 we have been meeting once a month in bars around the centre of Bristol. The group is open to all ages/genders/etc and is free to join. We'd be pleased to see you at our next meeting, all you need to do is turn up. We are usually easy to find as there are about twenty of us each time. The discussion is always very sociable and informal, we aim to be welcoming to new members and not to take ourselves too seriously!

Mailing list

If you would like to join the group, please sign up to our mailing list to receive information about our meetings. Only members can post messages to the list so you don't have to worry about spam.

Future plans

We'll be meeting again in September, when we'll be discussing Noughts and Crosses (first book in the series) by Malorie Blackman.

Previous books.

Here is a list of all the books we have covered before: Previous Books.
